GFP is a free open source personal finance manager written in Java, which allows it to run on virtually any operating system. It's designed to help people with little financial knowledge managing their finances. With GFP you can keep track of your credit card, bank account and account savings - and compare these to budgets previously created.
Many reports are available and filtering allows you to get detailed information about your finances. The reports together with charts allows you to see where you have spend your money, and watch balances on both credit card and savings account.
GFP has a plug-in architecture that allow it to be extended by other developers or advanced users. Currently a plug-in for Brazilian users is available that import data from on-line benefits card from visa. GFP is currently available in 7 languages with more translations on the way.
